Evil Spyware called Look2Me
Oh my gosh!!! I just finished saving my computer from a horrendous spyware called Adware Look2Me. This program somehow downloaded to my computer without me knowing it. Luckily my McAfee virus scan was able to pick it up. The worse part was that everytime I tried to delete this program, it would recreate itself. I spent days and hours trying to get rid of this awful program. Finally, I decided to track down the jerk(s) responsible for this invasion and was able to track down the email and phone number for the guy who registered the domain. My plan was simple, I was planning on emailing him and calling him every single day that I had to deal with this problem. I sent him a scathing email advising him that he better tell me how to get rid of this monster that his company created. The next day I received an email from another person with an Uninstaller program. Lucky for them, the night that I sent the first email I managed to finally get rid of it. I filed away the uninstaller and the information so if anyone ever gets this spyware let me know and I will give you tips on how I got rid of it. This is the first day that I have actually been able to surf the net again. What an experience!
